WASC/ GCE/ IGCSE
(Students will complete Key stage 1, 2 and at key stage 3 & 4 ( 11 - 18+) learning will be directed to these exams. We hope to specialise in the sciences, preparing students with strong aptitude in those subjects for higher education in courses such as Engineering, Computer Science and Medicine amongst others. To this end, emphasis will be on the following subjects:
Mathematics, Chemistry, ICT, Physics, Biology
This subjects will form the core GCE / IGCSE learning, in addition to; English Language, English Literature, Geography, RE, Music, Art, Media, Business Studies, Drama. Sociology, further Maths, Modern foreign languages ( Chinese, Spanish and Japanese) optional languages ( Portuguese, French and two African languages).
This will lead to between 7 to 9 GCE,IGCSE, WASC, depending on the depth of Art study. (The upper Secondary department follows the Cambridge International Examination IGCSE and GCE A Level.
We incorporate personal, learning and thinking skills (PLTS) in our framework to help students recognise the value of education in their lives and how to meet the challenges of life in a dynamic world.
